Why We Created iSTREAM: Looking Toward 2030

By 2030, the world will look dramatically different. Automation, AI, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, and clean energy will reshape nearly every industry. More than 10 million STEM-related roles are expected to emerge or evolve by the end of the decade, yet millions may still go unfilled because students aren’t being prepared for the opportunities ahead.

This isn’t just a workforce challenge, it’s a visibility challenge.

We created iSTREAM to ensure every student, regardless of background, has early, meaningful access to the skills, experiences, and mentors that will define the careers of 2030 and beyond.

iSTREAM empowers students ages nine and up to become the innovators, creators, and problem-solvers of 2030 and beyond. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to emerging fields, we prepare young people to lead in Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, the Arts, Mathematics including Aviation, and Innovation.
